I love to watch the activity in my winter garden. When the snow falls, the birds flock to the feeders. Here are some of today’s adorable little visitors:
That is one of the great things about gardening, you really get in touch with nature. You begin to appreciate the birds as well as your plants and garden decor.
People often do not realize that in cold weather birds can die if thirst as well as the cold. The low tempretures frees the water making it unusable by the birds and other wildlife.
Having a water garden which is kept liquid or if you at least break the ice from time to time in your garden, can save many little lives. Keep up the good work.
Nice pics. Thanks for sharing.

This photo just brings back summer days and birds singing. Thanks for sharing
I live near a swamp and creek and even in the winter the birds are here and add to the yard and gardens. Denise http://www.thegardenersrake.com
